Meet the team behind Tazio


Tom Stroud

Tom Stroud
Tom Stroud is the founder and CEO of Tazio. Prior to founding Tazio, Tom was the CEO of Webcast Global, an audio and video webcasting company in London. In 2005, he founded Miura Conference, a telephone, web and video conferencing business, eventually selling it to MeetingZone in 2008.
Tom is responsible for the strategic direction, vision, growth and performance of Tazio. He is passionate about growing Tazio by focusing on our core values and developing long term relationships with our customers and partners.
Away from work, Tom is a forever optimistic Bath Rugby supporter, a keen runner, and a classic car collector and restorer. He's currently building from scratch a replica Maserati 300S and restoring a 1968 Lancia Fulvia, which turned out not to be quite as solid as it was described!

Jennifer Davies

Jennifer Davies
Starting her career with Tazio as Customer Success Manager, Jen’s role has grown alongside the business. She has a successful background in sales and business management, working with both enterprise and SME sectors.
Tazio has ambitious goals and Jen is guiding the team to build great customer relations and drive Tazio forward as the number one provider of online assessment for emerging talent for graduate and early career recruitment.
Outside of Tazio, you can find Jen running up a hill somewhere, apparently for fun, or walking her faithful Labrador Bertie along the coastal path in Wales.

Tim Smith

Tim Smith
Tim Smith is the Technical Director of Tazio and is responsible for all technical areas at Tazio.
Responsibilities include the design and management of the Tazio infrastructure and system architecture, project and programme management and management of all software development activities from architectural design through to test strategy.
Tim has 35 years of experience in the software industry and over 20 years of experience in project/programme management. He has experience across a huge variety of employment environments from multi-national companies to SMEs. Previous employers include BAe, Liebherr(Germany), Sony and BSkyB as well as start-ups TVonics. Tim has previously managed large teams of engineers and multi-million pound projects.
Tim’s breadth of experience allows him to bring the best elements of best practice from diverse areas of the industry; from safety critical development in the aerospace industry and development to military standards, through mass-market consumer electronics to cost critical start-up environments. This knowledge allows the Tazio development team to combine flexible, agile development with the highest standards for product reliability, quality, and information security.
Tim has a first-class honours degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering and is a Chartered Engineer with the IET.

Richard Gaze

Richard Gaze
Richard Gaze is the CIO of Tazio. Holding a BSc in Computer Science and a Masters in New Generation Computing Richard has a background in operating and securing a wide variety of systems including critical national infrastructure projects.
With Tazio growing globally, we are leveraging his experience in operational delivery and compliance to extend our compliance regime from UK based security standards to globally recognised ISO standards.
When away from work Richard enjoys developing new skills and applying them both – which he had great opportunity to do so whilst building his own house.

Gareth Boucher

Gareth Boucher
Gareth is Tazio’s Senior Software Engineer, tech enthusiast and cheeseburger connoisseur, on a mission to further scale our global platform. He has over 20 years experience in the industry and is responsible for over seeing our software department.
Gareth has obtained multiple degrees in Computer Science and History from Cardiff University. Prior to joining Tazio he has worked in a variety of tech companies, ranging from a small start-up in a garage to large scale national organisation.

Darryl Hillman

Darryl Hillman
Darryl is one of our Software Developers with a decade of extensive experience and technical skill, he started coding at a young age and discovered his passion for computers.
Darryl graduated from Aberystwyth University where he studied Internet Computing and loves working on complex and intellectually stimulating coding issues.
Outside of Tazio, you can find Darryl playing video games or planning his next trip to Japan.

Lawrence Griffiths

Lawrence Griffiths
Carrying a BSc in Computer Science from Cardiff University, Lawrence has over 15 years of experience working in Software Development. Alongside his extensive software development knowledge, Lawarence's has worked with a range of clientele in a variety of industries and on occasion has lead teams and managed development projects to delivery.
A keen Welsh rugby fan, Lawrence has a true passion for the game. Many of his fond memories coming from Warren Gatland's illustrious reign over the national team. Outside of rugby, Lawrence has a true passion for coding, he still loves the feeling of seeing the results click into place from a big technical challenge.

Mark Evans

Mark Evans
With extensive background in software development, Mark has experience in working with a variety of software solutions, including; cancer staging, maritime security, GMC to CRM and much more. In addition to his practical experience Mark also holds a BSc in Computer Science and a MSc in Mobile Communications.
Mark is a true outdoorsman, whether it be walking or cycling he enjoys every facet of being in the great outdoors. More recently, Mark has been throwing himself in at the deep-end, trying his hand at open water swimming! He claims his favourite spot for a dip is the world famous Loch Ness.

Ian Welch

Ian Welch
With over ten years in software engineering experience, Ian has worked with both small software houses working on many different bespoke applications, to large multinational organisations working on key product lines focussing on both security and performance as the keystone to their success. Spending the last three years as an engineering manager, Ian has providing leadership and mentorship to various sized teams, allowing everyone to meet their full potential.
Although managing was a large part of his career, he has never walked too far away from the his coding origins. Ian loves getting involved and having the technical conversations with peers as they look to tackle complex engineering issues.
Very family orientated, Ian can often be found with the family fossil hunting along the Welsh coast or walking up the surrounding hills. However, he is also a keen runner and regularly hits the trails along the river Taff, usually whilst listening to heavy rock music.

Bobby Iveson

Bobby Iveson
After an extensive career in electrical engineering, Bobby has joined Tazio as a Junior Software Developer, kick-starting his journey into professional Software Development.
Prior to his arrival at Tazio, Bobby comepleted numerous Open University courses, opening the door to the start of his Software Development career.
Bobby has an array of hobbies, often saying that he has “far too many.” He's a very active individual and loves to be outdoors, whether it’s tackling Pen Y Fan, or running, cycling and practising calisthenics. Aside from his hobbies, Bobby loves animals, especially his kitten Pepper.

Dean Russell

Dean Russell
With over 10 years of experience, Dean is an accomplished database developer specialising in SQL. At the beginning of his career Dean managed a busy helpdesk system, during which he would resolve support calls from customers using bespoke software products. More recently, however, Dean has been responsible for creating a set of database standards for several teams to follow when working with database objects.
Becoming very in tune with his craft, Dean previously worked on databases for various software applications going all the way back to SQL Server 2005, to more recently SQL 2019.
Outside of his work, Dean graduated Swansea University with a FdSc in computer science. He loves spending time with his family and on occasion, enjoys playing his favourite video games.

Bethan Morris

Bethan Morris
Beth is an accomplished Project Manager and has extensive experience in both private and public sectors. She is well versed to project management methodologies, process engineering, organisational change management, project planning and communication.
Beth holds a bachelor’s in Public Relations and outside of Tazio is always trying new hobbies. She loves the outdoors and enjoys running, normally after her two young children.

Judith Eddington

Judith Eddington
Judith is an experienced Software Test Engineer with other two decades of experience, she particularly enjoys the collaborative element of her role working alongside Tazio software developers and ensuring our clients have the best possible finished project.
Outside of Tazio, Judith enjoys being creative with her passion for textile art and other crafts. She also has two young grand children that she likes spending time with and teaching arts and crafts.

Rhys Flynn

Rhys Flynn
With experience as a Testing Team Leader, Rhys has most recently delivered software solutions to the fashion industry. He enjoys learning and applying his skills to solve digital problems, priding himself on his ability to communicate between all knowledge levels.
After discovering a passion for programming through a computing course at his sixth form, Rhys enrolled on a Games Technology course at UWE Bristol. Outside of work Rhys can be found walking his dogs; Murphy and Maisie, hosting a Dungeons and Dragons campaign or playing video games on his PC.

Sam Davies

Sam Davies
Sam is a professional test manager/engineer with over 20 years’ experience in software testing. Prior to joining Tazio he has worked in a variety of tech companies, ranging from a small start-up to large scale national organisation.
Outside of Tazio, Sam enjoys socializing with friends and supporting his local football team. He has two young children who are football mad.

Chelsea Francis

Chelsea Francis
Chelsea is part of Tazio’s customer success team and has a strong track record of building lasting relationships with both clients and candidates.
Prior to joining Tazio, Chelsea worked within the Recruitment industry, initially as a consultant, and then later as a manager. Having worked within recruitment, she has experienced first-hand how a virtual recruiting platform can streamline, simplify, and modernise the hiring process.
Chelsea was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa and upon graduating in Consumer Science, decided to relocate to Wales in 2017. She is a keen runner and recently completed her first half marathon.

Joanne Jenkins

Joanne Jenkins
Jo is part of Tazio’s Customer Success team.
In this role, her mission is to develop and enable Tazio’s strategy by delivering exceptional customer service and experiences for our clients and candidates alike, ensuring they get the best out of the Tazio platform.
Prior to Tazio, Jo was a recruitment consultant for many years before joining us in 2020. Outside Tazio, Jo is a mum to her teenage daughters and Jack Russel Terrier, she enjoys cycling and can often be found on Strava, planning routes, and virtually competing to get the best time.

Sarah-Louise Rogers

Sarah-Louise Rogers
Prior to joining Tazio, Sarah has worked as an Account Manager across multiple industries including Pharmaceutical, Recruitment and Hospitality. Sarah has strong track record of working well under pressure in a calm and efficient manner, building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues, and delivering against contracted KPIs.
Outside of work, Sarah spends her weekend exploring the coast, watching rugby, drinking craft beer, and avoiding her house renovation.

Amy Goodfellow

Amy Goodfellow
Amy comes from a recruitment background and has a strong track record of relationship building, account management and business development. She aims to deliver exceptional Customer Service to all users of Tazio, be it clients or candidates.
Outside of Tazio, Amy is a mum to her young son, enjoys running, and is a member of her local Netball team. She considers herself to be the queen of karaoke, although most of her friends tend to disagree.

Huw Roberts

Huw Roberts
Welcome Huw, our latest addition to Tazio's Customer Success Team.
Prior to joining Tazio, Huw worked as an Implementation Coordinator, across multiple industries including, Recruitment, Retail and Telecoms. Huw enjoys learning new skills, and then applying those skills to provide more efficient work processes. Huw has a strong track record of building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
Outside of work, Huw spends his free time exploring the coast of Anglesey, playing board games, and solving escape rooms with friends.

Hannah Thomas-Warner

Hannah Thomas-Warner
Hannah is Tazio’s Operations Manager.
With extensive background in Operational Delivery and Management, Hannah brings over 13 years of knowledge ranging in all numerous sectors such as Healthcare, Clinical Research, and IT Sectors. Hannah delights in working with and building strong relationships with a range of cliental at all levels, along with managing multiple teams.
Hannah has obtained a BSc in Criminology, Criminal Justice and Sociology; she describes herself as an avid crime buff.
Away from work Hannah thoroughly enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, and supporting Welsh rugby.

Emily Percival

Emily Percival
Emily is our Marketing Manager, bringing a wealth of marketing experience to Tazio. She leads the company’s digital marketing, advertising, communications, market research and growth initiatives, elevating Tazio to new clients around the world and deepening engagement with our existing community.
Prior to joining, Emily completed a Masters in Marketing from Bristol University and previously worked for Apple.

Emily Clissett

Emily Clissett
Emily graduated from Bath Business School in 2020 and took it upon herself to find and complete a business internship which sparked her interests in marketing, especially in social media. Emily describes herself as a perfectionist and specialises in the creation of engaging content for all Tazio platforms.
Outside of Tazio, Emily has a passion for horse-riding, something she has done from a young age. She enjoys the social and competitive side of owning horses. Otherwise, you will find Emily walking the local coastal paths with her cocker spaniel Beau or planning her next getaway.
